Abstract
The Security and Land Protection Department at PT XYZ is dedicated to ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of the company's operations and assets. However, The Department faces significant challenges in efficiently managing their time and reporting workflows due to the reliance on traditional paper-based methods. (Objective) In an effort to address these issues, the department has embarked on the implementation of a digital reporting system. In order to ensure a systematic and well-structured approach to the development of the digital reporting system, the system adopted the Waterfall methodology. Waterfall methodology focuses on careful planning and design at each phase of system implementation. The system developed using MySQL, Express, React, and Node.js, allows for seamless transition from paper to digital, resulting in a remarkable 300% reduction in paper usage while enabling report creation in just 5-10
minutes. Through this digitalization, the Security and Land Protection Department at PT XYZ is poised to achieve new levels of efficiency and effectiveness in their reporting processes.
