dc.description.abstractOne of the most important processing processes in the production of soap is the drying phase. Depending on the drying technique used, the dried soap will have varying physical properties. The correct final moisture level of the soap pellets (noodles) is critical for obtaining the highest finishing line efficiency and finished bar performance. One component of product quality that must be checked and regulated is the moisture content value. A high moisture value will have an adverse effect on the mixing process for the next bar of soap, whereas a low moisture value will result in an increase in the utilization of raw materials, resulting in a higher cost value. Traditional processes are still employed in the now-operational soap drying process factory. Temperature monitoring is done separately from other operations, and valve operation is done manually rather than connected with the primary controller. The operators are in charge of all monitoring and synchronization between temperature and valve opening action, which they do manually based on their knowledge. In order to offer good work that is both trustworthy and consistent, a dependable process control is required. One method of process control is the use of fuzzy logic control.
