Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated the whole globe, with long-term consequences in practically every facet of human life. It has also harmed the hotel business abroad, forcing the hotel to take various necessary steps, including staff termination. Employee termination has reduced the employees' perception of job security. This study also focuses on the phenomenon observed at 4-star Accor Hotels in Tangerang caused by a reduction in work performance within the business. The objective of this study was to determine how much job security influences job motivation and performance. Based on data gathered from 193 workers of the 4-star Accor Hotels Tangerang, the findings revealed that job security has significant and positive influence towards the job motivation, job security has significant and positive influence towards job performance, and job motivation has significant and positive influence towards job performance. It is also found that job motivation has been the important link of job security towards job performance. The theoretical and managerial implications were also discussed in this study.
