QUALITY CHECK ON MULTIPLE BARCODE USING VISION CAMERA WITH AUTOMATIC LABEL PRINTING

Abstract

The common data identification is using a barcode and related to the QC (Quality Check) station. Listing the multiple barcodes on the big box will take a lot of time when doing it manually. Using the camera vision or barcode scanner, the barcodes can be captured in a second. The listed barcode should be compared with the databases for printing out the label tag before transporting or marking as the production is done. While doing the scanning, printing, and labeling manually by the operator, the time that has been spent and the accuracy to do every process will be decreased. Furthermore, the error from fatigue and ununified position makes the process further decrease. Therefore, in this project work, the automatic process from scanning until the data is processed into a printing job and automatically attaching the finished label to the package box will be done. This project will speed up the manual process and accuracy from the human touch and make each process predictable for target production purposes. Since there is less human touch in the process, the fatigue, error, uncertain factor, and ununified placement can be decreased and pressed the spending by reducing the human labor of doing the QC and effectively working on the other station that needs the most.
